The 2020 Avid Surf has been given a makeover. Gone is the red paint job of the previous generation and replaced with a muted charcoal gray that will blend in with your surroundings, especially when fishing at night. The Avid is constructed of SC III graphite that is lightweight, sensitive and powerful. The actions in these rods are excellent and will help you get longer casts and feel every bite. They have been outfitted with Fuji Alconite K-Frame guides that are made for braided lines and will reduce tangles while increasing casting distance.
